πŸ“ Introducing our new Executive Director of Member Advancement

Hi Reader,

Yesterday a group of women drafted values for businesses that don't exist yet.

That was the open house for the Build, Launch, Scale Lab, where the cohort started an AI Compass and sketched a Personal AI Policy before there's anything to police. Pamela Oberg and Anne designed the ten workshops so every session ends with something finished.

Next week Workshop 1 opens for She Leads AI Society members, and it's the identity one β€” employee to founder, plus the first draft of a Founder Operating Philosophy the cohort will keep rewriting across nine more sessions.

The Compass and the Personal AI Policy work the same whether you're starting something or steering what you already own.

Warmly,
Kate

Social Saturday is made possible by the She Leads AI Society, our membership program for human-centered AI practitioners.

[Our Zoom Policies]

We are proud to announce Pamela (Walters) Oberg, MA, PMP as She Leads AI's Executive Director of Member Advancement.

Pamela has been part of She Leads AI since our earliest days. Actually, BEFORE our early days. An OG, if you will.

She launched She Leads Reads, our community book club, and has been the welcoming front door of the She Leads AI Society, greeting and orienting women as they join.

She is the founder of SeaBlue Strategies, where she helps organizations and emerging entrepreneurs align people and process around a clear purpose, and she brings more than 20 years of leadership, much of it in technology operations and change management.

Her point of view on AI is human-centered. She starts with the need rather than the tool and uses AI to extend what people can do.

In this role, Pamela leads how our members grow across the community and heads the Build, Launch, Scale Lab, built on her Founder's Compass framework β€” Purpose, Process, People, and Pivot. Across ten live workshops, every session produces something finished, from an offer canvas and a visibility plan to a discovery script, a marketing plan, and a working tool stack.

Bringing her Founder's Compass methodology to She Leads AI is HUGE for our members. The Build, Launch, Scale Lab means every woman who joins has a direct path forward in her AI career journey.

Build, Launch, Scale Lab - Workshop 1
Build Your Inner Game

For Members of the She Leads AI Society

πŸ—“οΈ Wednesday, August 5 from 11:00am-12:30pm Pacific

This is the first of ten workshops in the Build, Launch, Scale Lab, a She Leads AI program for women starting ventures of their own β€” many after years of leading in established careers. Tactics and business plans come later in the series. Workshop 1 begins with the founder herself, because the move from employee to founder is a personal change as much as a professional one. We spend this session on the question that anchors the nine that follow β€” who are you becoming?

By the end of this workshop, participants will:

  • Name the key mindset shifts from employee to entrepreneur and identify which ones they most need to strengthen now.
  • Learn at least one resilience and decision-fatigue strategy to keep moving when things feel ambiguous.
  • Articulate a personal "why" for their venture that anchors their choices over the next 10 weeks.
  • Draft the first version of their Founder Operating Philosophy β€” a living document they will refine across all 10 workshops.

The Build, Launch, Scale Lab is a benefit of membership in She Leads AI. We recommend the full arc β€” the workshops build on one another. And the curriculum is built to be joined as your time allows, with every replay and resource waiting in the learning management system.

Ditch the PDF - Build a Lead-Gen Quiz That Converts, Live

For Members of the She Leads AI Society

πŸ—“οΈ Wednesday, August 5 from 2:00pm-3:00pm Pacific

Nobody hands over an email for another PDF, and the few who do forget to open it. A quiz is different β€” people want to take it, because a smart assessment answers a question they came in with, then gives them a result they'll trade an email for. You'll build one live using Kimberly's WIIFM method, styled to your brand and ready to drop into a podcast CTA or a YouTube description, no code required. You leave with a working quiz you can reuse for every new offer. Three companion skills and a worksheet get you through the next build on your own.

Learning outcomes

  • Write scored quiz content with AI without starting from a blank page.
  • Build a branded quiz app in Lovable from a single prompt, then map its email capture to a webhook so new leads flow into your CRM or email tool.

πŸ“’ She Leads AI Society Members Making an Impact

Courtney B. is the founder of Brilliant Patterns, where she builds AI tools for people in career transition. The approach traces to her own layoff during a graduate program in instructional design. She turned that experience into a course and built into it a calculator showing how much money someone has left after six months, when unemployment ends. She is rebuilding it now as a free resource. Her career strategy blueprint helped a public health graduate map her story for interviews, and the student went on to land a competitive healthcare administration fellowship. Courtney puts her method plainly, "I build the frameworks I wish existed, test them in public, and give away what works." She publishes the results either way, including the outreach that gets no reply. Before founding the practice she spent two years designing equity-centered learning at Education Design Lab. Every tool she has built started as a problem she was living.

Laurie Blair spent nearly three decades in social media marketing and brand content before going semi-retired, and she has used the time since to learn generative AI. Her LinkedIn is mostly other people. She points her network toward a visual artist making music and video with AI, and toward a builder who shipped a working app live during a Zoom session. She shows up to the workshops she recommends, including a June session on creating video content with AI. She lists artificial intelligence first among her skills and calls herself an enthusiast, which undersells what she does. After a career spent marketing other companies' brands, she has turned that same attention on the women around her, making sure their work gets found by people who would have missed it.

Sarah Mary spent a decade building health data systems used by millions of people, and she carried that standard into AI. Through MurchΓΊ, the growth studio she founded this summer, she builds AI growth systems for doctors and health practitioners who want evidence and have no patience for hype. She built her sales intelligence platform Pipely with Claude Code from scratch, and has since taught hundreds of people to build the same way. Her writing is mostly about discipline. She argues that AI does not go rogue, and that the failure is someone handing a model access to something consequential with three lines of instruction. In June she co-hosted Actually Using Claude with Anne Murphy for She Leads AI, where members left with a Claude configured for their own business. She came from a field where inaccurate data had consequences, and she has not relaxed that standard for AI.

πŸ“ Worth a Share

The Court of Petty Grievances

I have to let Jasmine Schwarz tell this in her own words:

I built a courtroom that settles the petty arguments. Whose turn it was to pick dinner, who left the dishes again, that kind of thing. Submit your side, someone else submits theirs, a wildly pompous judge hands down a verdict, sentencing included.

It came out of a curiosity project, comparing how Claude's newest model, Fable, builds against Opus. I had a bank of Lovable credits sitting unused, so I decided to put them to work and take action instead of just reading about the tool.

The app is playful on purpose. What's not playful: no accounts, no emails collected, nothing stored, and a built-in guardrail so if someone brings something genuinely hard instead of something petty, it steps out of character and points them toward real support instead of trying to make light of it. That part isn't optional for me. Silly project, same standards I'd bring to anything else.

Go get a verdict, tell us if the court rules in your favor!
