Hi Reader,
At CREATE in Salt Lake, Vaness Chang pushed us to retire the old “smart vs. not smart” framing lots of us grew up with. When AI can surface facts faster than we can open a tab, “being smart” isn’t a flex. What matters now is what we do with it: judgment, context, communication, ethics, courage. Not “soft skills.” Critical human skills. The ones women in this community practice every day while running companies, teams, classrooms, boards, and families.
We saw the same energy from Trudy-Ann Armand, M.Ed., when she asked: What would you do if you lost your income today? That’s not fear. That’s readiness. She’s helping women build income resilience so we’re not over-reliant on one client, one role, or one platform. That’s also why we’re launching the second cohort of the Certified AI Educator program on Nov 6—because we need more women teaching responsible, human-centered AI in ways real people can actually absorb.
We're doing an encore!
𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 for what might be the very coolest, very dopest, most helpful, inspiring, and encouraging virtual event for women in AI this year.
CREATE Conference – Virtual Experience
Nov 10 · 10am–5pm PST
Nov 11 · 7am–2pm PST
The speaker line-up is bananas. SO MANY LIGHT BULB MOMENTS.
AND we have a private channel for you to meet other women in AI before, during, and after the event - regardless of timezone!
There will be surprises and delights, giveaways, and good vibes.
We are covering as many time-zones as possible, but for some this will be in the middle of the night - so we will create high quality replays with supplemental resources.
Here’s the bigger point: AI is unpredictable, but women’s leadership is a constant. Like IRL, we’re here to support our communities. That’s our lane. That’s what She Leads AI is all about.
On a personal note, I would love to see you at the virtual experience. Connecting with other women in AI is what fuels me…and fuels She Leads AI. Me to you: I hope you’ll join us on Nov 10 and 11.
Warmly,
Anne Murphy
